Now hear this!

“Every time I would talk to people and learn their stories, it fueled for me the possibility of staying hopeful, staying in the story of what’s possible–not what is wrong.”
Kelly Dozois on the Talent Development Hot Seat podcast

Podcasts are such an intimate and convenient medium, aren’t they?

We love discovering a great episode, especially when the topic resonates with something we’ve been wondering about or we find an interesting one to keep us company or entertained while we’re doing something mundane, like the laundry.

With more than 2 million active podcasts and at least 48 million individual episodes out there (Podcast Insights) serving up conversations on most any imaginable topic to millions of active listeners (Buzzsprout), the choices we have are overwhelming.

This week, we’d like to draw your attention to a few outstanding recent episodes of the Talent Development Hot Seat podcast with Andy Storch (which we proudly sponsor!) and another that recently featured one of our own as a guest.

Here are 4 must-hear recent audio favorites well worth a listen:

  1. Influencing hope through stories with Kelly Dozois
Why telling our stories can significantly shift relationships, create connection, and influence positive change around us in our workplaces
  2. Liz Wiseman on impact players
How to build a workforce of impact players and foster a company culture that allows them to thrive in their roles
  3. Effective decision making and building inclusive learning experiences with Brent Snow
How to fine tune your decision-making capabilities and avoid the traps that lead to poor choices
  4. Advantage Partner Paul Schnabel on Ian Selbie’s Confessions of a Sales Pro
Charting his own path and writing a book based on insights from his work with thousands of sales professionals around the world, Paul noticed the most successful people are also those who are the most inspired
