Talent Development Tuesday
Building success in talent development – one thought at a time.
An operating system for leadership
“Multipliers invoke each person’s unique intelligence and create an atmosphere of genius—innovation, productive effort, and collective intelligence.”
Liz Wiseman, Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter
Liz Wiseman’s groundbreaking book, Multipliers, was published more than a decade ago, but the official learning simulation based on her work is reverberating today in organizations around the world in answer to some of the most pressing and critical leadership challenges.
More and more leaders are embracing the concepts from Multipliers and finding its tenets to be a valuable core “operating system” for leadership that touches multiple critical needs in their organization. Those needs include not just talent optimization, but also employee retention and engagement, culture change, innovation, and even psychological safety and inclusion.
In the past month, we facilitated the Multipliers simulation for almost 1,000 leaders for a large, global enterprise at events across 3 U.S. cities. The organization originally discovered Multipliers at one of our complimentary public sessions, initially targeted a group of their high potentials for a Multipliers learning journey, then decided it was so valuable they wanted all of their leaders to experience and understand its concepts.
It’s a story we hear again and again since we began facilitating the Multipliers simulation in 2016.
For example, an award-winning initiative at Western & Southern Financial Group with Multipliers at its core won a 2020 Brandon Hall Group bronze award for Best Advance in Creating a Learning Strategy. “Multiplying Our Talent: A Strategy for Innovation and Cultural Transformation,“ a collaboration between our Advantage Performance Group Cincinnati team and Western & Southern, continues to cascade and resonate there.
We’re offering a rare opportunity for leaders in talent development to get a complimentary look at the Multipliers simulation at an invitation-only virtual public session scheduled for 12-4pm Eastern on Tuesday, May 17. Due to heavy demand, we’re not promoting it on our website but we want you to know about it as one of our treasured readers of Talent Development Tuesday.
If you’d like an invitation, or if you know a colleague who might like to evaluate Multipliers for your organization, please contact your Advantage partner (or reach out to us here and we’ll put you in touch with a partner in your area). Act fast as this session will fill up quickly.
We’d love to see you there!
