Building an inclusive culture at Kroger earns 2022 Brandon Hall Group Bronze Award for DEI
The Kroger Company, Advantage Performance Group, and 10,000 Feet share the award for 'The Inclusive Leader' implementation
SAN RAFAEL, CA - An initiative for building an inclusive culture at Kroger has earned a 2022 Brandon Hall Group Bronze Award in Human Capital Management for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. The Kroger Company, Advantage Performance Group, and 10,000 Feet, LLC, creator of The Inclusive Leader learning experience, share the award for their joint entry.
The Inclusive Leader helped bring to life Kroger’s urgent call for action, making its goal for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion not just a matter of compliance but a framework for a more robust culture being embraced at every level, every day.
In 2021, Advantage and 10,000 Feet shared the same award with Synopsys.
"Winning a second Brandon Hall award in this same category not only affirms what we’ve known for the past 30 years, that we are fortunate to work with values-driven and successful client organizations, but that we also have best-in-class capabilities that change behaviors to help build a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive culture for all employees," said Jonathan Hodge, President and CEO at Advantage.
"Our team is committed to growing our inclusive culture through exceptional leadership and associate training programs, so we are delighted to receive this award because it highlights their hard work and dedication," said Senchal Murphy, senior director of human resources at Kroger. "We are proud to partner with Advantage Performance Group and value their continued collaboration on this program."
"We have had the pleasure of partnering with the Kroger family of companies for more than 2 decades," said Advantage Partner Peg Ruppert. “While they have always been committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, the work they have done in the past several years, and the comprehensive strategy they have implemented, has elevated the conversation nationwide and improved the lives of their associates and the communities they serve in at a profound level.“
"We are proud to have created this elegant and powerful virtual Inclusive Leader solution for Kroger," said Brent Snow, founder and creative director at 10,000 Feet, “and we are truly honored to have The Inclusive Leader program and our work with Kroger recognized by Brandon Hall.” They created the virtual edition of their popular in-person experience especially for Kroger.
"It is critical to develop engaging learning experiences that give leaders positive pathways to follow as they seek to create more inclusive teams and organizations," Snow added.
