Leading in a Moment of Crisis: The Milan Story
The time/value ratio was phenomenal: Experience skills in today's context, leverage new technology, and gain insights into advanced uses of development tools for reaching more of our learning customers. One of the best activities I have experienced!
With the spread of COVID-19 and a global economic downturn, these times are unprecedented – and many people are overwhelmed with advice and differing opinions on how to manage this situation.
Join us on Tuesday, May 5, from 12-2pm Eastern for an engaging, complimentary 2-hour simulation in which you will:
- Explore the most pivotal moments leaders face during a crisis
- Learn from recent history and discover what great leaders do in those moments that sets them apart
- Gain empathy for your people and practice ways to serve them better
Following the outbreak in Asia, Italy became the next epicenter of the COVID-19 crisis. Our global partners at BTS developed a simulation to recreate some of the very real challenges their team members in Milan faced at the height of the crisis.
In this simulation, you’ll be able to reflect on how best to lead by experiencing moments modeled directly after what the team experienced in Milan.
Expect to leave with a deep appreciation for the feelings your people may experience and a set of practice tools to help you and your team members better respond to the situations they will experience.
This session will be run using digital technology including Zoom and a digital, moments-based simulation on BTS’s proprietary Pulse platform. You will be provided with access to the simulation at the beginning of the session, which can be accessed from any updated browser.
Please note, Zoom has enhanced its security features and our meeting ID is not available to the general public. To participate, you will be need to be able to use the Zoom platform.
This program was relevant, engaging and due to the technology, extremely accessible. I was very pleased with the content, the scenarios and the exchange with colleagues from around the country!
