elevateHER, a strategic women’s leadership development initiative we worked on with Reprise Digital, has won a 2023 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Gold Award in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Best Advance in Leadership Development for Women. (Get the full story here.)

Reprise Digital, a global marketing agency, partnered with us to deploy a mobile-first app powered by the 1st90 platform and an accompanying learning journey based on the acclaimed management book Being the Boss: The 3 Imperatives for Becoming a Great Leader by Dr. Linda Hill, a Harvard professor who is also is a founding partner at Paradox Strategies. Their goal was to increase the representation of women in senior leadership ranks across the globe.

As a result, participating women worked hard and used what they learned to earn promotions and increased responsibilities. Reprise has also seen steady gains in female retention and new hires.

The Being the Boss journey fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants, who were high potential women from four markets: Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the U.S. “It feels like we are not alone,” one of them said.

Collaborators on the project included Selva Blum, Senior Leadership Consultant at Advantage; Michelle Crenshaw, Global Chief Talent Officer for Reprise; and two of our thought leader partners, Dr. Hill and team at Paradox Strategies, and Paul Middleton and team at 1st90.

“It was a pleasure sharing the Being the Boss journey with these inspiring women,” Dr. Hill said. “We see women thrive after completing the program, and I am eager to see where their careers take them.”
