Talent Development Tuesday
Building success in talent development – one thought at a time.
Business acumen for all
“Don’t be intimidated by what you don’t know. That can be your greatest strength and ensure that you do things differently from everyone else.”
– Sara Blakely
During our internal partner call yesterday, we heard from our thought leader partner Libby Macomber at Celemi. She brought us up to date on a couple of their unique and highly popular learning experiences we would love to tell you more about.
First is Celemi Sustainability™, a competitive learning experiencethat focuses on helping employees grasp how a company can be both profitable and sustainable. Participants working in teams need to drive a sustainability transformation for a fictional company to achieve success across a “triple bottom line” of people, planet, and profit.
This cutting-edge, first-of-its kind learning experience on sustainability released in December of 2022 has sparked a brand new version of their classic discovery-based learning simulation, Celemi Apples & Oranges™, which has helped millions of non-finance professionals understand the language and logic of the financial side of their organizations.
The new Triple Bottom Line edition of A&O is designed to help your employees understand the financial implications and business value of a sustainability transformation.
Imagine the possibilities when engineers, health, or high-tech professionals with special expertise also gain an understanding of and appreciation for the financial and sustainability challenges facing their organization. It’s a well-established fact that bringing in a diverse and wider group of all kinds of people will boost an organization’s decision-making and innovation capabilities.
Three of our Advantage partners – Rob Grossman, Susan Sheehy, and Irv Stern – are currently seeing ongoing success and enthusiastic evaluations from employees from a multi-year implementation of Celemi learning they are coordinating for a well-known multinational conglomerate.
These and other game-based learning simulations, available for in-person implementations or digitally, are helping Celemi see sustained growth year after year. Libby attributes that to a deep need in organizations for their people to develop an understanding of business given today’s unprecedented market conditions that both boomers and millennials in leadership roles have typically never encountered.
We see them as a win-win for organizations that recognize the need to boost understanding, collaboration, and innovation among all of their employees in order to transform and stay competitive.
Contact us or talk to your Advantage partner to learn more about the time-tested, proven, and poplar discovery-based learning experiences from our partners at Celemi that we can bring to your organization customized to match your organization’s unique market challenges.
