Talent Development Tuesday
Building success in talent development – one thought at a time.
Finding joy
“Find joy in everything you choose to do. Every job, relationship, home…
It’s your responsibility to love it, or change it.”
Chuck Palahniuk
If there’s one thing that stands out about being part of Advantage Performance Group, it’s that we love the work we get to do with our clients to help organizations develop great people. And we love our fellow team members.
While we all work remotely from locations throughout the U.S. and more (and we have been doing so for the 30+ years our group has been together), the pandemic has brought us much closer together.
When the initial lockdown hit in March of 2020 just after our national sales meeting in Austin, Texas, we embraced new weekly team collaboration calls and other team meetings via Zoom to rise to our challenge of pivoting together. Since then, we’ve all had opportunities to know each other and our thought leader partners better, and we feel more unified than ever.
Today, we’re celebrating the upcoming holiday with a team Zoom party with our best/worst festive sweaters, hats, and Zoom backgrounds. Teaser emails have us all trying to guess the surprise activity in store for us. We can’t wait!
Our wish for you this holiday is that you find joy in your work and that you approach your day remembering your highest purpose as you pursue a career that’s meaningful and rewarding. May you find inner joy to sustain you on the hard days, celebrate the good ones, and remember we’re all in this together.
We wish you peace and joy this holiday season and throughout the coming year.
