Talent Development Tuesday
Building success in talent development – one thought at a time.
Manage their success
Leadership development starts here.
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, s
acrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”
– Pele
Last week, we brought to your attention a stunning new report from HR research guru Josh Bersin on how organizational investments in leadership development have hit a new low, and it shows.
On our internal call yesterday, Amy Kahn, our partner in Cincinnati along with Peg Ruppert, shared a success story about how she is helping a small company begin to invest in its leaders by implementing a series of modules from Managing Success, a core management development program from our thought leader partner Kelly Dozois at Ocean Beach Consulting.
Kelly and company are also the brains behind some of our most popular development experiences including Influence Inside, Influencing with Story, and Breaking Thru Bias.
For the Cincinnati-based company with leaders in two locations, Amy put together a leadership learning journey consisting of a series of 10 live virtual workshops from March through December, each about 2-3 hours long and highly interactive. Participants use practical tools to safely practice new skills they can then immediately put to use. It’s a process of learn, apply, report impact, repeat, and it’s working very well.
Talk to your Advantage partner or contact us to find out more about how Managing Success can help assure success for the new leaders in your organization.
