Talent Development Tuesday - Pumpkin spice leadership (icon of pumpkin on a coffee mug)

Pumpkin spice leadership

On this first day of fall, what could be better than a nice cup of pumpkin spice leadership to go along with all the other pumpkin spice marketing you’re going to get in the coming weeks?

Yes, we’re kidding! But we thought you might enjoy a laugh (or even a groan) today in these strange times, so here we are, your new barista for organizational learning.

All kidding aside, we’d like to share with you a new trend in the talent development space – an immersive, interactive audio learning platform called Giide (pronounced like guide but spelled with two i’s), which lets us serve up learning experiences in a brand new way. It combines audio tracks and a related feed of hyperlinks, quotes, activities, and more to bring you a rich, on-demand experience you can listen to passively or actively explore.

We’ve just produced our first Giide based on our popular webinar last week with Harvard Business School Professor Dr. Linda A. Hill, who shared tips for leading in a crisis based on her acclaimed management classic, Being the Boss: The 3 Imperatives for Becoming a Great Leader.

The first in a series of 3, this one is on the first and most important imperative, managing yourself It’s a quick, 13-minute listen available here.

And if you’d like to enjoy a nice cup of pumpkin spice latte with your listen, we won’t stop you!
