With more than 40% of the workforce thinking about quitting their jobs, human resources are top of mind for organizations trying to figure out how to hold onto their people, reduce their anxiety, or attract or retain talent from among the multitudes who have already relocated or are looking for new opportunities.

Whether you see the glass as half empty or half full, there is no doubt we’re in a time of incredible movement becoming known as the “great resignation” and the “great reshuffle.”

LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky is optimistic about what he describes as “a talent migration that’s bigger than anything we’ve seen before.“

“To me, this is a great thing. More people will be doing work they love at companies they feel passionate about, leading to greater success for organizations who engage their employees with empathy and trust,” he posted recently.

We couldn’t agree more. Now is an ideal time for leaders to revisit their “why,” infuse their teams with enthusiasm for the organization’s highest purpose, and realign everyone around a post-pandemic strategy based on what success can look like in a world we have a chance to reinvent.

While many people out there are planning to say goodbye, we think this is a great time for hello.
